There is also only one version of the game currently in the Steam DB. And when there's been concerns this isn't going to happen, they have responded to ensure it does happen. This means they release the uncut (US) versions on Steam in Japan.

Tried to contact Steam support, but whatever I tried it simply refered me to BGS's official support form unless it's about outright refunding request.
